Here at PTSG we're an industry leading, award winning safety specialist who operate across 5 areas. We're going to focus on our specialist Electrical Safety division made up of PTSG ES, Guardian Electrical and Electrical Compliance and Safety (ECS).
ECS are an award-winning compliance crew keeping the lights on (and the sparks off) in homes, housing associations, public sector sites and commercial buildings. We mix industry know-how with modern tech so inspections run smoothly, reports actually make sense, and the only disruption is deciding who makes the tea.
We're offering two Apprenticeship opportunities within this team. We'd love to give you the chance to build a career within the electrical industry, gain hands-on experience, and develop your skills while working alongside experienced electricians on a busy social housing programme, focusing on unoccupied properties.
What you'll be doing day-to-day:
Most of your apprenticeship is spent working. You’ll learn on the job by getting hands-on experience. You will get the opportunity to work alongside qualified electricians, assisting with electrical installations, rewires, consumer unit changes, minor works and general electrical upgrades.
You will support with cable pulling, containment, second fixing, chasing, lifting floorboards where required, preparing materials, keeping the work area clean and tidy, and assisting the electrician to complete works safely and efficiently.
You will also gain experience in inspection and testing preparation, understanding certification requirements, identifying materials, and learning how to complete works in line with current electrical regulations and company standards.
