ECS – Electrical Compliance & Safety are currently looking for experienced Electrical Subcontractors to support an ongoing Void Rewire Programme across social housing properties in the Burton upon Trent area.

This is a subcontract opportunity for qualified electricians, ideally working as an Electrician and Mate team, with experience in domestic rewires, upgrades, and electrical installations within void social housing properties.

We're looking for reliable subcontractors who want consistent weekly work, organised workloads, and strong weekly earnings without constantly chasing the next contract.

What's on offer:

• Average weekly earnings between £1,200 – £1,800

• Up to 12-months of work

• Price work or day rate available (to be agreed)

The role:

You'll be responsible for carrying out full and partial rewires within void social housing properties, ensuring all installation work is completed to a high standard and in line with current regulations.

Works may include consumer unit replacements, installation of new circuits, fault rectification, testing and certification of completed works, and preparing properties for reoccupation.

This role requires a professional approach, strong attention to detail, and the ability to deliver quality work within programme timescales.

Requirements:

• Qualified Electrician

• 18th Edition

• 2391 or equivalent Inspection & Testing qualification desirable

• Previous domestic rewire experience

• Experience working within social housing desirable

• Electrician and mate team preferred

• Own van and tools

• Public Liability Insurance

• Ability to complete certification accurately

• Evidence of CIS or Ltd Company status required
